Kaci Chan

Hi, my name is Kaci!
I am looking to expand my teaching career and to gain some more experience in teaching as i enjoy it very much. I am a very disciplined cellist with over 11 years of experience. I am very passionate about the instrument and i am looking forward to expand my knowledge whilst teaching.

I am currently 16 years old studying a Licentate of Music (LMusA) in cello performance. As well as preparing for my audition for Griffith Conservatorium to study a Bachelor of Music.

I am currently a grade 11 student at Mansfield State High School where i was accepted through the music excellence program in grade 7. At Mansfield, I am heavily involved in numerous activities and events for example; school musicals, competitions, recitals, events and concerts.

I charge $30 for 30mins, $40 for 45mins and $50 for 1hr and I currently located in Calamvale.

My past experiences include:

• Participating in youth orchestras such as WSSO and QYO
2022 QYO2 principal cellist at age 13
• Achieving an Associate Diploma of Music (AMusA) in 2023 at age 14
• Led my school's top string ensemble to the state final in State Schools Instrumental Fanfare 2024 as the principal cellist
• Participating in Creative Generation State Schools onstage for 4 consecutive years while having the opportunity to perform as the principal cellist for 3 years and featured soloist in 2024 as well as the upcoming shows in 2025
• Participated in the MOST music program organised by Queensland education where I got to work with world renowned conductor and alumnus from my school, Dane Lam

I am excited to work with both parents and students to offer my skills and experiences.
