Hello! I am a genre-hopping cellist and amateur chorister, and completed my Bachelor of Music (Music Education) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I currently perform with the string quartet Quart-Ed, and have recently been exploring the string folk scene.
A few years ago I sustained an anxiety-related playing injury - it's helped me discover a passion for awakening and deepening people’s musical identities and developing healthy music making practices. I also have a certificate in BodyMinded Alexander Technique and use that training in my teaching.
I am also a qualified high school music teacher, and can assist with Music 1 and 2 Aural and Listening skills, Music 2 compositions, and Music 2 Musicology essays (I wrote one myself!).
