Piano Lessons

Fully qualified through the AMEB, I have been teaching piano for over 25 years to students of all ages. I believe music should be FUN, not boring, and taught with gentle patience and kindness, love, respect and humour. My own animated online theory program www.niftynotes.com.au is included for all students and does away with boring theory books. Registered through the AMEB, exam preparation is available from Preliminary to 8th Grade, but learning for fun is encouraged with or without exams. I believe that each student should be taught according to their individual personality and strengths, and that it is paramount to provide overall encouragement at EVERY level. All of my students who have undertaken AMEB exams have passed with amazing results - when they have been ready to do so - never pushed or placed under stress with them. I just adore what I do and will undoubtedly end up the world's oldest piano teacher one day! I look forward to meeting you.
