Lesson policy sample:
- Lessons are held during state school terms
- After a paid trial lesson, upfront non refundable full term payment is required.
- Maximum of 1 catch up lesson per term: 24 - 48 hours notice required for cancellations.
- Lesson rates are the same as VMTA Victorian Music Teachers Association recommended rate.
- 30 minute beginner lessons
- 40 minute intermediate lessons
- Lesson attendance: Weekly commitment required
- In order to be prepared for each lesson students must commit to a minimum of 4 consecutive days practice
- Start with 5 mins and build up to 10, 15, 20 mins etc up to 2 hours per day depending on level.
- One day per week do a double practice session.
- In the rare case of cancellation by the teacher, the lesson will be credited to the following term
- Lessons falling on a Public Holiday will be rescheduled
- Lessons must take place on the same day and time each week. A new day and time can be requested at the change of term not during term.
- Fortnightly lessons are not available
