Kate Travers

I offer specialised, private lessons from beginner to advanced. I am experienced in preparing students for AMEB exams, eistedfodds, auditions and recitals at all levels.
I am a clarinettist in the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and X- Collective and have been performing and teaching in Brisbane for over 30 years. I am Lecturer of Clarinet at the School of Music, University of Queensland, a position I have held since 2014, and have provided musical services to the QYO , Young Conservatorium, MOST, and various other organisations in Brisbane. I have taught extensively throughout the private secondary school sector and privately in Brisbane and throughout QLD during the course of my career. I have a current blue card.
