Online Recorder Lessons

Do you want to learn for leisure, looking for some music therapy, or some much needed “me time”? You’ve come to the right place.

My aim is for each student to receive high quality recorder lessons in a safe and inclusive environment. Lessons are personalised to suit individual skill levels, learning styles and musical preferences.

I enjoy sharing my love of music with my students and to see them end the lesson each week feeling uplifted and encouraged.

Absolute beginners and adults are more than welcome.

Descant/tenor or treble/bass recorder fingering taught. Recorder technique, sight reading, music theory.

Learn for pleasure, grade exams, work on recorder ensemble pieces.

Online lessons in the comfort of your own home. Brisbane students may arrange a combination of online and in-person lessons.

I am a professional member of the Queensland Music Teachers Association with an honours degree in music, post-grads in education and counselling and over 25 years of experience teaching music in schools and private practice.
