  • LLB (first class honours); BMus (performance
  • recorder).

Bachelor of Music in Performance (recorder) at High Credit standard at the University of Adelaide, 2005.

Have continued to perform publicly both as soloist and in small baroque ensemble, as well as teaching privately both adults and younger students, including taking students through the AMEB examinations.

I have been adjudicator on several occasions for the Adelaide Eisteddfod, recorder division.
I have written articles on recorder technique, including in an international Recorder Journal; and have given workshops and lectures on recorder technique and how to play the repertoire of different eras, including the style of the French Baroque, both in South Australia and interstate, for the various recorder societies.

I previously was a lawyer, but gave up law to have a family, and then followed my love for music by completing my Bachelor degree in Music performance for recorder at Adelaide University, performing and teaching.
