Katrina Wu

Katrina is a graduate of the Bachelor of Music Education at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she has also completed a principal study in Clarinet. Katrina is enthusiastic about teaching music to students in a fun yet engaging manner, ranging in a variety of styles from beginner to HSC levels.

Katrina has completed her Certificate of Performance, Music 2 and Music Extension exams on Clarinet. She is an avid ensemble player, playing in a variety of ensembles around Sydney, including the Sydney University Wind Orchestra. She also likes to explore other modern genres such as jazz in addition to classical.

Katrina also enjoys playing and teaching Saxophone; despite having only played for a few years, she enjoys playing with others on saxophone in an ensemble context. She has completed her AMEB grade 8 on Saxophone, and Grade 8 with Distinction for the Trinity Jazz exam..

Katrina currently teaches in a range of school music programs at Barker College, St Therese's Catholic Primary School Lakemba, and St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School Dulwich Hill. Additionally she also runs a private studio in Telopea where she hosts a number of students.
