Kenichi Mizushima

Suzuki Method Teacher

“Character first, Ability second”

  • Dr Shinichi Suzuki

Belief that talent is not inborn but an ability that is developed is at the core of Kenichi’s teaching philosophy. The same approach is used when teaching children to speak leading to unlimited learning potential.

Together with the parent, Kenichi will work step by step to develop your child’s ability.

Kenichi began learning cello from his Suzuki teacher father from the age of two. A performing career began at the age of 6 and has led him to perform in England, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Korea, Japan, America, New Zealand, and Australia. A natural path and desire to inspire the next generation has led to a teaching career which has brought many children to understand the joy of accomplishment through music.

Kenichi attributes his cello learning to his parents in his formative years and Dr Zoltan Szabo.
