PIANO, THEORY, AURAL:
Levels: Beginner to Intermediate.
Emphasis on AMEB Syllabus.
SINGING:
All ages, all levels, all styles.
You will learn safe and effective techniques to improve your vocal range and tone, breath control and phrasing, diction, healthy posture through Alexander and Feldenkrais Techniques, vocal placement, support and projection amongst other things. Stage performance, acting skills or music theory can also be incorporated into your lessons.
Many of my voice students perform in musical theatre and opera, in bands or choirs, or undertake examination (AMEB, ANZCA, VCE, Tertiary and Postgraduate Studies). Although I encourage students to build their confidence by participating in a variety of performance opportunities (competitions, exams, auditions, etc) I also understands that some students just want to sing for fun, so lessons are always tailored to suit individual needs and goals.
