"Singing is not just a talent that some are born with and some are not, it is also a skill that can be developed with good techniques and practice. There are so many different styles of music out there and as a singer these days you have to be versatile, you need a range of tools and techniques you can draw on to sing each style authentically and safely. I'm passionate about teaching voice and opening my students' eyes to how their voice actually works and the potential they have right there inside them. On the performing side of things I love to get into the nitty gritty of the song and flesh it out with real meaning and character. Singing is all about passion and connecting with your audience emotionally and I'm committed to giving my students the tools to do this."

  As a professional performer in everything from Opera to Jazz, Musical Theatre and Corporate Functions Kerryn lists as some career highlights understudying Marina Prior in the national tour of the musical Showboat, performing alongside Australian greats such as Anthony Warlow, John Bowles, Lisa McCune, Rhonda Burchmore, Rob Guest, Nancy Hayes and Barry Otto and touring both Australia and the world with Andrew Lloyd Weber's smash hit musical CATS.
  Kerryn brings a wealth of experience to her teaching with a degree from the Victorian College of Arts and 26 years of performing behind her.
