Kim Bishop is one of Australia’s leading violin teachers.
Originally from Tasmania, Kim has relocated from Melbourne to Hobart and is now enrolling students in her new violin studio.
In Melbourne, Kim established a very successful music studio, teaching students from Pre-school ages to Tertiary, mentoring them to successful university level studies and careers in a full range of other professions.
Kim is Director of Suzuki Violin Teacher Training in Victoria, Australia, a role she has held since 2000.
Kim has been a guest lecturer in string pedagogy at various tertiary institutions, including Monash University and The Australian National Academy of Music.
Kim has taught at Suzuki Music Festivals and World Conventions in Japan, Korea, Singapore, New Zealand and throughout Australia.
