Holistic Creative Music Lessons

Improvisation is to music, what conversation is to speech.

We would never be satisfied to just read off scripts that someone else wrote in our everday lives, as if we were on a TV show!

Likewise, we can't uncover our true expression in music without learning the creative language of music, so we can express what we really want to say, what is unique to us.

As we work with creativity in music, we will:

• Learn to apply the music theory system and learn its expressive qualities and potentials, so that you can learn to find your own expression within it

• Experiment with different approaches and styles

• Explore the contexts in which you would like to create - whether that's as a solo improviser, within a band, songwriting, looping, etc

• Lessons are very much open to what you wish to explore!

Lessons are available in-person in north-eastern Melbourne (Diamond Creek), or online via Zoom.
