Klara (Violin/Piano/Vocals/Theory - Lessons/Teacher)

General Details

Bachelor of Music

https://klarateaching.wixsite.com/musiclessons

I have completed a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in contemporary vocals, and have 6 years teaching experience with piano and voice, and 10 years teaching violin all to a variety of ages. My approach is casual while still focusing on the importance of technique. I tend to lean towards classical methodology, and specialise in The Suzuki Method for Violin. However, I am more than happy to try my best to accommodate to your needs and work on pieces of your choosing, which can range from all sorts of styles and genres.

Lessons include learning various skills and techniques such as, how to read sheet music, music theory, sight reading, aural and rhythm work, learning a strong technical foundation, improved musicianship skills, how to care for your instrument, performance skills, and an emphasis on finding your individual needs.

I believe that there is more to a students development than a weekly lesson. That’s why each year I hold a mid-year and end-of-year casual student concert where both children and adults enjoy the opportunity to perform, share and celebrate music with each other.

No drive outs – lessons are at the designated location in Clifton Hill.
Lessons are held on a regular weekly basis guided by Victorian school terms.
