  • Bachelor of Music - Australian Institute of Music

Kristie Lees is a unique, diverse singer, musician, songwriter and performer. Growing up in the Blue Mountains, she was involved within the performing arts since the tender age of 7. This included singing in selective choir competitions at the Opera house, selected to perform at the Q theatre for drama, being a part of multiple school musicals and placed third in Sydney’s 2013 Bustalyric singing competition.

At the end of 2015, Kristie completed a Bachelor of Music degree at AIM (majoring in vocals). There she gained extensive skills within musicianship and performance, vocal technique and versatility within genres.

Kristie is also an experienced and trained ‘Voiceology Australia’ teacher (www.voiceology.com). Trained by the fabulous Marion Rouvas, Kristie implements this way of singing into her teaching. Using this program, Kristie passionately teaches correct vocal technique and vocal health so the student does not damage their vocal chords.

“I love helping students achieve their dreams, their passion and guiding them at all different levels of skill to embrace their own individual talent. I am extremely passionate about vocal health and vocal technique. Through learning and practicing this, the voice will have longevity no matter the genre or style, providing the correct skills and technique to build strength, range, breath control, confidence and many other vocal benefits.”
