Conservatorium qualified oboist who also holds a teaching degree and is currently a Head of Department in Performing Arts. My qualifications are BMus (oboe), GradDip Performance (oboe) and Graduate Diploma of Education.
The opportunity to teach privately from my home studio enables me to engage in high level tuition, focussing on individual goals, progress and positive mentoring.
With 15+ years of experience teaching and 20+ years of performance experience, believe in a hands-on approach to teaching meaning that I play consistently through the lessons with the students enabling active engagement, modelling of skills/tone/intonation and learning ensemble skills right from the get go.
I also currently tutor woodwind and brass instruments in a high-level youth orchestra working with students from 10 - 26 years of age.
