I'm a guitar teacher with over two decades of experience. I'm highly skilled in just about every style of guitar there is. I have taught at many of Perth's best private schools as well as the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and UWA. I now teach privately out of my home studio in Eden Hill.

I have taught thousands of students over the years many of whom have gone on to become successful professional musicians and teachers in their own right.

I have also performed in countless bands in many genre's both as a member and session musician and have toured the country and the world extensively for over twenty years.

I don't believe in a one size fits all approach to guitar tuition. I will personally tailor your lessons to your goals to make the quickest progress possible in a fun and easy to understand way. Whether you're a complete beginner just wanting to learn some chords or a professional musician looking to up your game I can get you there in the quickest and most straightforward way.

I also believe its important to understand how music works so in addition to learning your favourite songs you'll learn the how's and whys of music through fun and applicable theory (none of that boring archaic theory that has nothing to do with guitar today). You'll learn a myriad of chords and chord progressions, scales and arpeggios and how it all works together to create the music you love (only if you want that is, it's also fine if you're only interested in learning songs :)
