Associate of Music Australia in Classical Piano through the Australian Music Examinations Board, Grade 6 Music Theory through the Australian Music Examinations Board, Psychology First Class Honours Degree through Queensland University of Technology
I endeavour to make lessons fun and engaging, while instilling a solid technical foundation in students. I am happy to prepare students for AMEB exams or for them to learn for pleasure without examinations. Moreover, I am also able to teach beginner / early intermediate theory, and am able to integrate an education in musical theory into the piano lessons if desired. I have 5.5 years teaching experience, and have completed my Associate of Music Australia in Classical Piano and 6th Grade Theory through the Australian Music Examinations Board. I also have an honours degree in Psychology, so have a strong understanding and interest in human learning. I am located in Balwyn, and am able to have piano lessons there on my grand piano. I am also willing to travel to surrounding areas to teach in students’ homes for a small fee. This includes Clayton and surrounding suburbs as well because I am undertaking my masters studies in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash university. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like further information or to book in for a trial lesson.
