Experienced local composer and teacher with tertiary qualifications from Sydney Conservatorium of Music (B. Mus. Composition) and over a decade of experience in composing, songwriting, orchestrating and arranging for small to large ensembles and in a wide variety of styles including film, classical, modern art music, folk, world and jazz. 50 film credits including Australia & Moulin Rouge (orchestration); orchestral arrangements written for David Hobson & MSO for ABC Classics; 3 albums of own compositions released with Balkan jazz fusion ensemble Chaika and songwriting duo Laura & Susie. Enthusiastic teacher who encourages students to explore their own style while widening their compositional range and skills. 4 years as composition tutor for State Music Camps. Has worked with many highly respected Australian composers including Nigel Westlake, Elena Kats Chernin, David Hirschfelder, Richard Mills.
