Clarinet Lessons

I teach clarinet students from beginner up to university level. Having taught a large number of young beginner students, I am great at working with children and providing patient, supportive and fun lessons to help them achieve their best. My studies of both high level AMEB, and VCE Music Performance; in combination with my studies at Monash University as both a music and education student, have given me a strong grasp on both how to best start beginner clarinet students, as well as prepare students for exams, and high level performance.

A large focus of my lessons is teaching my students not only what to practice, but how to practice when alone in the practice room. I ensure my students are playing not only the music they enjoy, but constantly providing challenges to push their ability, while providing support such as feedback between lessons through recordings. I encourage and teach my students to record themselves to keep track of progress, and as another teaching tool.
