I teach engaging and tailored violin lessons (AMEB syllabus), ranging from total beginners to intermediate students. I am patient, supportive and encouraging, with my lessons driven by fostering love and growth of music in students wanting to discover meaningful and fulfilling repertoire. I always strive to lead students to fulfill their potential. I can adapt to the student's preferences of lesson styles, whether that be a fun & dynamic approach, or a more serious and disciplined focus.

I have played the violin for 11 years, generally following the traditional AMEB syllabus to AMUS & LMUS level in weekly private lessons. I have been taught by reputable Brisbane teachers including Stephen Chin, Kyla Matsuura-Miller and Michele Walsh. From these highly qualified, passionate and inspiring teachers, I learnt a variety of fundamental and advanced skills in instrumental technique, expression and musicianship.
I graduated from Somerville House in 2018, where I received the highest level of musical education. Here, I participated in weekly rehearsals for the top chamber string group, consort & quartet for my two years of attendance there. The Australian Combined Schools Music Festival in Canberra was also a large highlight of my musical involvement at Somerville.
I have previously been a member of the Queensland Youth Orchestras and the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra.
Through consistent participation of these orchestral and chamber groups, I learnt the natural skills and processes required for such programs.
I highly value healthy teacher-student relationships where the student feels valued, understood and fostered in a highly supportive and non-judgemental environment, conducive to the growth of musical excellence.

Private lessons are held at my home in Gumdale. Please don't hesitate to email me at or contact 0497 544 740. I'd love to hear from you!
