Flute, Piccolo, WACE music and theory teacher and professional Flautist.

Laura teaches the flute from beginner to AMEB AmusA level, including all aspects of music in lessons, including improvisation, composition, playing by ear and from memory.

Laura is a winner of the prestigious Australian International Flute Festival Competition and has been a SSO Fellow. She is a casual musician with the SSO, OA, OV, CSO and Auckland Philharmonia.

Laura has both a Bachelor in Music Performance (1st class honours) from the University of Western Australia and a Masters of Music from the Australian National University. She is currently completing a PhD in Music Performance.

Laura has studied from some of the top flautists in the world, including Michael Cox, Virginia Taylor, Vernon Hill, Neil Fisenden, Ian Clarke, and Peter Lloyd.
