I believe that everyone has to capacity to find joy in music-making, whether you come from an experienced musical background or are a complete beginner; music is meant to be shared an enjoyed, and has no restrictions on age or ability.
With over five years of practical tutoring experience, I am passionate about providing comprehensive and accessible music education to students of all ages through structured but easy-going classes. I have a strong background in both performance and composition, holding a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from the Elder Conservatorium of Music with First Class Honours, so you can trust that your musical journey will be in safe and experienced hands.
My approach to private tuition is student-based, ensuring that lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and learning style in order to meet their own personal goals. I want to ensure that each student gains a deep understanding and appreciation for the way music works and the unique ways we connect to it, enhancing the learning process by developing a personal relationship to music creation.
My own personal goal is to make music education and practice accessible to everyone, to provide solid foundations in learning, and to encourage independent exploration of the art.
