I’m offering violin and piano lessons for students of all ages and experience levels, whether you’re just starting out, returning to music, or trying out a new instrument!

I have over 18 years of experience teaching both violin and piano, and I focus on building a genuine enjoyment of music alongside strong technique. For younger beginners, I use Suzuki methodology to help develop confidence and a love of playing from the very beginning.

I hold a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Arts from Monash University (majoring in classical violin), as well as a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. I also have over ten years of classroom teaching experience in both English and Music, including VCE Music (Contemporary and Repertoire Performance), which means I’m well equipped to support a wide range of learners and learning styles.

Lessons are always tailored to individual goals — whether that’s playing for enjoyment, building confidence in performing, or preparing for AMEB exams. I also offer tutoring for AMEB theory and VCE music written exams (theory, aural, and analysis).

Lessons are held in Gowanbrae.
