Lauren completed her Bachelor of Music – Vocal Performance in 2009 and has been playing the piano for over 15 years. Lauren has over 10 years of teaching experience. Lauren teaches peripatetic lessons at various high schools, music centres and tuition schools as well as from home. Lauren teaches from a modern perspective and always aims to improve the sound of the students unique voice. The focus during any singing lesson is always to maintain vocal health while achieving great results and enjoying every minute of it. Lessons include warm-ups, technique instructions which also include exercises to improve aspects such as pitch, tone and breath, repertoire, accompaniment and lesson recordings are also available. Lauren also teaches contemporary piano and music tuition for all ages and levels, which can also include specialized tutoring for HSC students and AMEB preparation. AMEB exams in the Vocal and Piano syllabuses are optional, but encouraged for those students wanting to develop a specific set of skills and pursue a career in the music industry. Lauren’s students have an average score of Honours in AMEB exams for all vocal and piano syllabuses. These syllabuses are recognized at all major institutions across the country.
