Fabio Colombini

  • BMus at CLAM

I am a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, producer and music teacher with over 25 years of experience. I began my classical guitar studies at the age of ten, after moving on to popular music. I also studied singing, piano and drums before being accepted as a student at CLAM, a renowned music school in Sao Paulo, where I studied Brazilian music, improvisation, harmony, arrangement and composition.

At fifteen, I started my professional career playing in cover bands. I also began teaching music in some conservatories, but I chose to develop my own style, which I currently teach for private one-on-one training. In 1991, I graduated as an architect at “Faculdade de Belas Artes de São Paulo” and since then, have been working as an independent architect and professional musician.

I played John Lennon’s role for almost ten years with tribute band Beatles 4ever, which was the only band of the world that played all of The Beatles albums in a row.

I performed jam sessions with Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones), Buddy Miles (Jimmi Hendrix), Robben Ford and Robert Cray.
Nine albums released, including original and tribute material, written in English and Portuguese as well.

I specialise in acoustic guitar lessons, electric guitar lessons, piano lessons, and singing lessons. I have taught all ages and abilities, but work particularly well with beginner to intermediate players.

From taking lessons from me, you can expect a friendly, experienced and structured teacher, who is always willing to go the extra mile.
