AMusA, BMus (Performance - Jazz), Master of Music Therapy
Lesa Groves has been teaching piano students of all ages for over 10 years. Initially completing her Classical training and achieving the AMEB AMusA diploma, Lesa went on to study a Bachelor of Performance (Jazz) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Lesa has also completed a Master of Creative Music Therapy at Western Sydney University.
Students are able to start from the very beginning and are then able to pursue a musical direction of their choosing, whether it be undertaking AMEB exams, learning for leisure or focusing on studying the jazz genre.
Lesa also works as a music therapist with children and in aged care. In addition to working as an accompanist, Lesa is also a high school jazz band conductor.
