I have been playing the ukulele for over 8 years after having studied basic piano and guitar. I have a desire to teach this fine instrument, traditionally referred to as the Jumping Flea. The beauty of the ukulele is that it is a relatively inexpensive instrument, from less than $30. To get started, I do recommend having Aquila strings fitted if not already done so, from $15, and I recommend owning a ukulele tuner, from $20.
