Music therapy is an evidence-based practice that employs music in a therapeutic environment to reveal strengths and capacity in a person's journey towards health and wellness. As a treatment modality, it has been employed with children and adults living with disability since its inception and is included in the NDIS category of "Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living". Music therapy is both non-invasive and non-pharmacological, making it a distinctive and meaningful therapeutic tool.
