Liz is an experienced music tutor, with over 30 years experience. She has a proven track record in inspiring and developing young musicians from eight years through to the young at heart.
A graduate from Newcastle Conservatorium (DSCM) and Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide University BMUS(Hons), Liz was accepted for Masters study at the Royal College of Music in London and served as a casual orchestral clarinetist with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. Each lesson is taught one on one, where confidence and skill level can be developed without distraction.
Theory of music, setting up and maintaining a practice schedule are also developed in lessons. Performance opportunities for both solo and group playing are encouraged and are worked towards as an end of year concert.
For Liz, the thrill of teaching is to see her students overcome the challenges of learning a musical instrument, develop a “can do” attitude and discover their musical potential to go on to become advanced, accomplished young musicians.
Enrollments open October 2022 for commencement in 2023.
