Liz Hender is a Melbourne based pianist, teacher and accompanist. She completed her degree in Honours Performance at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2013. Liz completed a post-graduate Master of Music (Performance Teaching) degree in 2016 as well as the Graduate Diploma of Education. She has qualifications in the Kodaly Methodology & Feierabend First Steps in Music.
Liz has over 20 years of teaching experience with both children and adults. She can teach beginners through to advanced students.
Liz is a registered AMEB teacher and can sit students for both practical and theory examinations. She also accompanies students for AMEB examinations.
Liz currently works as Head of Music & Performing Arts - Junior School at Westbourne Grammar School. She holds a current working with children check and VIT Registration.
