Liz Hender

Liz Hender is a Melbourne based pianist, teacher and accompanist. She completed her degree in Honours Performance at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2013. Liz completed a post-graduate Master of Music (Performance Teaching) degree in 2016 as well as the Graduate Diploma of Education. She has qualifications in the Kodaly Methodology & Feierabend First Steps in Music.

Liz has over 18 years of teaching experience with both children and adults. She can teach beginners through to advanced students.

Liz is a registered AMEB teacher and can sit students for both practical and theory examinations. She also accompanies students for AMEB examinations.

Liz currently works as Head of Junior Music at Westbourne Grammar School. She holds a current working with children check and VIT Registration.
