Cello Lessons

Hi there! My main instrument is cello, but I am also a multi-instrumentalist and play piano, guitar, drums and basically any instrument I can get my hands on. This assists me in my composing practice (something I am also willing to teach) and means we can have some fun with different instruments for duets. As a composer, I enjoy arranging pieces requested by students (most recently, themes from "Zelda: Breath of the Wild") and I also include music theory and improvisation in lessons, how much depends on the interest of the specific student.

My philosophy is that enjoyment comes before anything else and I am not one to push for exams or demand a certain level of practice, however I will be honest with you about expectations and how practice - or lack thereof - will affect your development. I particularly enjoy introducing students to the world of cello and working with them to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.
