Ludmila Beliavskaia

Ludmila Beliavskaia is a classical pianist with over 30 years experience. She received a Masters in Classical Piano Performance with Distinction from the Rachmaninoff Conservatorium in Russia, and taught advanced classical performance at the conservatorium for over a decade. She has performed internationally, both as a soloist and as a featured artist with multiple orchestras. She has taught Bachelors and Masters level students at the University of NSW, and her students have gone on to achieve numerous high distinctions and winning placements at competitions internationally, including multiple top prizes at the Eisteddfod.

Ludmila's approach to teaching aims to help you understand music at a higher level. You will learn the philosophy behind a piece, to feel it deeply. This will help you create a unique story through sound. Then you'll learn to understand how harmonies reflect emotion, how structure creates flow, and how tone colour conveys feeling. With this understanding you'll develop the technique needed to create the desired tone for the piece.

Ludmila teaches advanced and post-graduate students: grades 7-8, AMUS, and LMUS and Bachelors/Masters students.
