I usually stay longer than 1 hour yet charge only the hourly rate.

The reasons I happen to stay longer are:

1. I care greatly about the student's progress and want to leave on a good note
2. I'm a passionate teacher; I got it from my music teacher grandfather, who married a gymnastics teacher!
3. I don't have many students because I'm selective, therefore do not run on a tight schedule

A Bit About Me: During my pursuit of the AMusA, I had the privilege of learning from top saxophonist educators, including Melinda Atkins, who taught world-renowned saxophonist Amy Dickson.

With a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience, I rely on a deep understanding of how the brain works, including maximising mind-muscle connection to help students fix their mistakes and retain concepts in their minds.

With over 7 years of private tutoring experience, I am passionate about guiding students on their musical journey. My approach is focused on helping students feel and deeply understand music, and instilling general work ethic for life.

Flexible and Convenient: I’m flexible with both availability and location—if it’s easier, I’m more than happy to come to your home for lessons!
