Luke Andresen is a professional drummer and educator based in Melbourne, Australia. Luke moved to Melbourne from his hometown of Mt Gambier, South Australia in 2013 after completing a Diploma of Jazz Performance (Saxophone).

He has since become a steady contributor to the Melbourne music scene, while completing both a Bachelors in Jazz performance (2015) and Honours in Jazz performance (2016), majoring in Drums. During his Career, Luke has performed alongside many highly regarded musicians both locally and abroad, including Joe Lovano, Enrico Rava, Gerald Clayton, Maria Schneider, Dave Douglas, Kenny Werner, Tomasz Stanko, Reuben Rogers, Paul Grabowsky, Mark Fitzgibbon, Barney Mcall, Tony Gould, Kate Ceberano, Grace Knight, Joe Camilleri, Julian Wilson, Paul Williamson and Rob Burke.

Luke is involved in many corporate and original projects as both a bandleader and supporting musician, as well as leading his own quintet, which features all original and self composed music.
