I'm Luke and I have been tutoring for 10 years across many schools in Sydney and at my home studio.

I have been working as a professional drummer for as long as I have been tutoring, with extensive experience in a large range of musical groups and artists (Live/Recording Sessions, Musicals, Corporate/Cover gigs), some of which have brought me across the world to tour including Australia, USA, New Zealand, Canada + Mexico.

I am also a graduate at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music - Majoring in a Bachelors of Jazz Performance (Drum Kit). I had also studied 1yr of Contemporary Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

I have an exciting and gentle approach to teaching that not only focuses on reading music/ building repertoire but to ensure that I equip my students with improvisational skills to develop their own identity on the drums.

Through my experience I am also very familiar with the HSC music performance syllabus and can tailor your performances to ensure you achieve the best marks possible.
