Madeline Browne

Madeline Browne is a second year tertiary student currently studying her undergraduate double degree, Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Music at Monash University. In 2020, she completed an Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (Performance) at Melbourne Polytechnic. In 2020 Madeline started her own all-female jazz band, Poet Street, and has worked with the band members to perform online and in person. Poet Street recorded their debut album “Poet St.” in April 2022 and officially released it in October 2022. Madeline as bandleader manages regular performances, including the band's album launch. Madeline is very passionate about teaching music, and has taught violin privately in 2021, as well as tutored younger students in violin, clarinet and saxophone during her late high school years. Madeline also has her Working With Children’s Check.
