Madi is a versatile, contemporary guitarist based in Brisbane who has recently completed her Honours (2016) after graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar (Performance) in 2015 from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
Madi has worked at both private schools and studios as a guitar, bass guitar and band teacher. She now pursues her passion for music education as a guitar and bass guitar teacher at her private studio in Balmoral.
During her years at the Conservatorium, Madi primarily practiced her craft with jazz guitarist and composer, Toby Wren, and also studied for a short time under world acclaimed British classical guitarist, Julian Byzantine.

Madi also performs regularly in Brisbane psych-rock-folk collective, Golden Age of Ballooning, who are back with their third EP entitled “Illusion of Control”.
Straight off the back of their latest tour, “Illusion of Control” had the band touring again with shows across Brisbane, Melbourne, Launceston, Hobart, Sydney and Canberra.
GAOB have supported the following bands: British India, Wolfmother, Swedish psych-rock masters Dungen, The Drones.
GAOB have performed at the following festivals:
Jungle Love Festival 2015, Deadlam Festival 2016, Hobbstock Festival 2015, Brisbane Festival 2017, Jungle Love Festival 2017.
