Violin Lessons

My name is Mae Napier-Traeger and I am a passionate violinist about to finish a bachelor of Classical Performance at the Adelaide Conservatorium of music and have focussed primarily on solo classical performance as well as orchestral, bluegrass and Celtic performance, theory, composition and vocal studies.

I have been tutoring students of all ages and skill levels for several years both privately and at schools such as Plympton Primary and Antonio Catholic School. I am able to teach both the AMEB and Suzuki methods as I have been brought up on both throughout my 17 years of music education.

As a teacher, I focus on inspiring a growth of joy within a student about their instrument as well as furthering skills in music-reading, listening and performance. I put a strong emphasis on the fun aspects of music, especially with younger children in a way that nurtures a student's want for independent learning!
