Piano Tuition – In-house lessons by experienced university tutor
I am a highly experienced piano teacher for students of all ages and levels. I have a strong passion for teaching and nurturing my students’ journey in music learning whilst adapting to their strengths and capabilities and guiding them to their full potential.
In my teaching I aim to provide my students with a well rounded music education. My lessons would encompass on elements such as expression, technique, sound, physiology, aural, sight-reading, theory and a general awareness of cultural, historical and repertoire influences.
In Sydney, I operated my own private piano studio and I was a teacher at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Open Academy and Play at the Con program. My students have achieved amazing results in eisteddfods, HSC, music examinations such as AMEB and have been awarded full music scholarships to highly competitive independent schools in Sydney. I also had students who have successfully auditioned into tertiary music courses. Aside from providing piano lessons, I have organised chamber ensembles and given workshops in ensemble skills and chamber rehearsals.
