Mandy Tsui was born in Hong Kong. She began piano studies at the age of 8 and completed the ABRSM grade 8 certificate in distinction in 1998 before starting a teaching career in private studios and music schools. Her mentors include successful teachers from the prestigious Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and Hong Kong Baptist University. Throughout her 15+ years of teaching, she has seen many of her students excelled in exams and public performances. Some of her students are active accompanists in their churches and some are frequent performers in school concerts and Eisteddfod.
She was graduated from the Australian Institute of Music in 2016 with a Master of Classical Piano Performance under the guidance of Dr Kirill Monorosi and Dr Suzanna Hlinka. She also holds a Associate of Music (AMus.A) and Certificate of Performance from AMEB. She is currently studying the Certificate of Teaching (CTMus.A) under the guidance of the well-respected AMEB examiner Mrs Lynette Morgan.
Apart from teaching and performance, she also enjoy accompanying vocalists and other instrumentalists in leisure and formal occasions.
