Margaret Schlink is an experienced violin/viola teacher, teaching all ages but with a special interest in adult students and adult group teaching. She has run group violin classes which have enabled her students to join community orchestras and other music groups. She is founder and director of the Perth Scottish Fiddlers, a community group specialising in Scottish fiddle repertoire, and she also plays with Scottish groups Trio Fáilte and Hot Toddy. She has played violin and viola for many years in orchestras and chamber groups and continues to play viola with a quartet. She is a past president of the Australian Strings Association WA and an accredited member of the WA Music Teachers Association. She teaches individual and group lessons, in person and online.
