Maria Hincapie Duque

Hi, my name is Maria Hincapie Duque. I have recently moved to Hobart and would love to help you discover and develop your flute playing.
I am a professional flautist and trained in Colombia, France, Belgium and the United States. I perform regularly with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and was Principal Piccolo of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania, USA, from 2019 - 2023. I have over 10 years of experience teaching flute from beginners to university students.
I offer flute and piccolo lessons for all levels. I teach online and in-person in my house in West Hobart or can travel to your house in some circumstances. I will use the teaching methods that suit you best to help you achieve your goals so that you enjoy playing even more.
