Violin Lessons

Specially written program for the young violinist teaching all the basics of beginning violin and basic music theory including note reading. Emphasis is on repitition, technique, aural skills and moving at a slow pace for the younger student. Younger students may find it easier to start with a 20 minute lesson for $15 and increase to a half hour lesson when they are able to increase their concentration skills.

A hire violin may be available to commence lessons for a few weeks at $5 per week. It is not recommended that you buy a violin until you are sure that your child will commit to lessons as violins are not cheap to buy and you need to know what size and type to buy. Don't waste your money on oversized, cheap instruments, you won't be happy. But saying that, you don't need to spend a fortune to get something to start on.
