Marjorie Li is currently a PhD researcher in music psychology at Macquarie University. Her research focuses on the psychosocial benefits of intercultural musical engagement. She obtained her master’s in psychology at Macquarie University, her Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of New England, and a first-class Honours in musicology from Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her main instrument is Chinese pipa (a 4-string plucked lute). She is actively involved in the community-based musical activities.
