Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA) - obtained 2012
My name is Mark and I am first and foremost, a musician. Music has always been a central element of my life – I began learning piano in 2006, completed an Eighth Grade exam only four years later, and had attained my Associate Diploma in 2012, at age 13. After this, I continued pursuing solo study of the instrument, performing regularly, including a performance of Chopin’s First Piano Concerto in 2015.
My journey as a soloist has come hand in hand with a variety of other experiences – from accompanying my primary school choir in 2010, I have also accompanied secondary vocal ensembles and chamber groups, and I have participated in a pit ensemble for a musical production playing the piano. I can also play cello and erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument, and have played in orchestras, big bands, and have even conducted a band myself.
I hope to be able to share this extensive experience with you in any way possible, and I commit to bringing passion, energy, and enthusiasm everywhere I go.
Thank you :)
