Martin Cox

I'm a highly experienced music teacher and performer with many years' experience in the primary and secondary school systems and in adult education.

I believe music lessons should be fun and entertaining and that creative self-expression should be a big part of any music lessons.

I teach a broad range of instruments (piano, oboe, flute, clarinet, saxophone) as well as singing and song writing and have many years' experience running school bands. I have performed professionally in orchestras, bands, duos and as a solo performer both in Australia and in Spain. I've composed music for films, theatre and dance productions as well as songs for various groups I've been involved with over the years. I've also done a lot of recording and have an excellent home studio for this.

In short I have a comprehensive knowledge of nearly every facet of the music industry and can honestly say I love teaching and watching my students develop their talents and reach their potential.
