Matthen Ng

An experienced music instructor based in Mount Hawthorn. Matthen has more than 5 years of experience of teaching music to all ages of music enthusiasts. In the past 5 years, Matthen helped a lot of students preparing for violin and piano examinations and competitions, they got satisfactory results. Matthen is an experienced piano accompanist, he had accompanied for a lot of occasions, like a recital, orchestral works, students examination and competition etc.

For musical ability, Matthen has participated in numerous regional and international music competitions, some of the competitions won a price, including a second running up at the 63th Hong Kong music festival (Piano), a third place in the 7th Hong Kong Asia-Pacific youth piano competition etc. Matthen has cooperated with FCU string orchestra to perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No.20, and became the student conductor in the FCU string orchestra for one and a half years.

For the lesson venue, I have a top-model upright piano in my house, the touch and the sound are similar to a concert grand piano, so students can simulate the touch and the sound of a grand piano, which unleashes your potential during competition and performance.
