B.A. Jazz Trombone, WWCC
I am a professional musician/educator offering lessons at my home studio in Summer Hill. I have a University Degree in Jazz Trombone Performance and 15 years’ teaching experience in the US and Australia including private lessons, public school classroom teaching, and clinics up through the University level. In addition to lessons at my studio, I currently teach low brass at St Patrick’s College Strathfield, Knox Grammar Preparatory School, and Randwick Public School.
I’ve had the pleasure of studying with some of the world’s great brass teachers and playing across 5 continents with musicians like Wynton Marsalis, Pete Escovedo, and members of the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera Orchestras (including trumpet legend Phil Smith). Students of mine have received music scholarships to New York University, the Berklee School of Music, and Cranbrook School. Lesson prices are flexible depending on length but generally fall between $35-60. I have a current NSW Working with Children Check and accept students of all ages and levels.
