Matthew Knight

I have been learning and playing the trumpet for 13 years, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Music Honours (Jazz Performance) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. I play with multiple jazz focused ensembles around Perth, such as the Western Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra and the City of Perth Thundercorps (which supplies music for the Perth Wildcats). I performed at the 2021 AFL Grand Final, and I have won the Royal Over Seas League Improvisation Prize (worth $2000).

I possess a current Working with Children Check (WWC) and a National Police Clearance (NPC).
